Stella's is our favorite! Not only has Meghan been working here since she was 13 years old, she has met some of her life long friends here. Come for a chill vibe, great food, drinks and company!

Open daily year round from sunrise to sunset, the Lighthouse is accessible by a half-mile hiking trail. The restored, red-brick Lighthouse offers overnight Bed & Breakfast accommodations, public tours and special events. Furnished as it may have looked in the early 20th century, the Lighthouse contains a small museum, gift shop, parlor, kitchen, keepers’ quarters, and two guest bedrooms.

If you crave nature in all its guises, head to Falling Waters Preserve. Its scenic treasures include a meadow with outstanding views of the Catskills, a couple of picturesque waterfalls and rock ledges that slant precipitously into the river. The preserve also contains the remains of the Mulford ice house, a windowless building that held 10,000 tons of ice “harvested” annually from the river and destined for shipment to New York City during warmer months in pre-refrigerator days
